Refund policy

1. 14‑Day Right of Return / Cooling-Off Period

As a customer, you have the legal right under the EU and UK consumer rules to cancel and return your order within 14 calendar days from the day you receive it, without giving any reason. This applies across our product range — hair oil, eyebrow oil, shower gel, fragrances, skincare, and other cosmetic & beauty items.


2. Return Eligibility & Conditions

To be eligible for a return:

  • The item must be in the same condition as when you received it — unopened, unworn or unused, with all tags intact, and in its original packaging.

  • You must provide a receipt or proof of purchase (e.g. order confirmation, invoice).

  • Products with broken hygiene seals cannot be returned for health and safety reasons (see Section 4).

If any of those conditions are not met, we reserve the right to refuse the return or deduct a restocking fee to reflect loss of value.


3. How to Request a Return

  1. Contact us within 14 days at info@milafoy.com to request a return.

  2. Items returned without a prior return request will not be accepted.

  3. You can contact our returns team at any time via info@milafoy.com for questions or status updates.


4. Hygiene / Safety / Non‑Returnable Items

  • Since we sell hygiene-sensitive cosmetic goods (hair oil, eyebrow oil, shower gels, fragrances, etc.), products sealed for health or hygiene reasons cannot be returned if their seal has been broken or tampered with.

  • The hygiene seal must be an obvious tamper-evident device (foil under cap, shrink wrap, tamper tape across box, etc.).

  • If the seal remains intact, we will accept the return, subject to the other eligibility conditions above.

  • Some items are excluded from returns:

    • Custom, personalized or made-to-order items

    • Sale items or gift cards (unless there is a manufacturing fault)

    • Items made of perishable goods (e.g. fresh goods, botanicals)

    • Hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases

    • Any item whose seal has been broken

If you believe an item should be refundable but was excluded, contact us to review your case.


5. Exchanges

To exchange an item, the easiest route is:

  1. Return the unwanted item (subject to approval).

  2. Once the return is accepted, place a new order for your desired replacement item.


6. Refund Process

  • Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will notify you whether your refund is approved.

  • If approved, you’ll be refunded via your original payment method within 10 business days.

  • Bear in mind your bank or credit card provider may take additional time to process the refund.

  • If more than 15 business days have passed since refund approval and you haven’t received your money, contact us at info@milafoy.com.


7. Damages, Faulty Items or Wrong Deliveries

Please inspect your order upon arrival. If the item is defective, damaged or incorrect, contact us immediately so we can assess the issue and arrange a replacement or refund. We’ll handle claims fairly and promptly.


8. EU & International Orders – Additional Rights

Even when shipping into the EU or internationally, you retain the 14-day cooling-off right under applicable consumer laws, subject to the same conditions above (unopened, intact seal, etc.). Products with broken hygiene seals still cannot be returned.
