The formula is unlocked
Your bottle's unique accord is opened from our sealed reserve. No two commissions are identical. The master perfumer begins the final construction — a process that cannot be rushed.
Hand-finishing and documentation
The flacon is hand-finished by our artisans. Your ownership certificate — bearing your name, the bottle number, and the master perfumer's signature — is prepared alongside it.
Private delivery week eight
Your commission is delivered by hand where possible, or by insured private courier. The sealed formula record is included. From this point, you are the only person in the world who owns this scent.
The ingredients and why they matter
Black Oud of Assam
The rarest regional variant of agarwood. Assam oud is darker, smokier, and more resinous than its Middle Eastern counterparts the result of a specific soil chemistry and climate that cannot be replicated elsewhere. This particular stock has been aged to a depth where its character is no longer sharp or medicinal. It is velvet.
Closed-Forest Agarwood
Hand-selected from forests now subject to international conservation restrictions. What Mila Foy holds was sourced before those closures. This is finite when it is used, it cannot be replaced. Its presence in your bottle is a consequence of timing and access that no amount of money can replicate today.
Rare Ambergris
Genuine ambergris, not a synthetic substitute. Formed over decades in the ocean and recovered naturally, it is among the most expensive raw materials in perfumery. It acts as a fixative of remarkable power, binding all other ingredients into the skin in a way that no laboratory compound can match. This is why the longevity is measured differently.
Aged Saffron & Labdanum
Both aged separately before introduction to the accord — saffron for its metallic warmth and animalic depth, labdanum for its resinous sweetness that anchors the drydown. Together they create the accord's emotional quality: authoritative, intimate, unmistakeable.
